This project began with observing and gathering stories from my local community. Through interviews, I collected narratives and used illustrations to depict the lives of women, portraying them as if they were ensnared in an invisible cycle. These women are part of a group from my hometown, a place strongly influenced by the patriarchal culture in China.

The final work is inspired by and expands upon my previous project, 'Chairs, Mate'. I integrated the roles of women into various scenes of their lives alongside chairs serving different functions, visualizing their stories and the disrespectful terms commonly used to describe women, such as "washing machines" or "dishwashers." The outcome of this project is a chair catalog, drawing inspiration from shopping catalogs.
